What a lovely place to eat! Me & mum called in here on the off chance for a lunchtime bite to eat. We were welcomed by a very friendly bar lady and waitress. The restaurant decor was very tasteful and the service fantastic. We were offered the 2 course meal for £10. When the food came, it was amazing! I would rate this as one of my top ever meals, the roast lamb dinner was divine, unbelievable for the money paid.
If you are visiting Hyde, please visit this lovely place with outstanding food. I live approximately 60 miles away but will try to visit again 10/10 :) -

This pub is currently closed while it is being refurbished and a new italian restaurant is opening at the premises. I cant wait as I love Italian food and Gee Cross needs some more eating places. The grapes is a very beautiful old building with a lot of original features intact like the stained glass windows and the fireplaces. The owner is Italian so hopefully it will be authentic food.This pub has tables outside and is usually packed at weekends and on warm evenings in summer. i await the grand opening.

A great atmosphere on a Friday night. The pub was packed . I think the whole of Gee Cross was in there. Good music playing,but not to loud so that i could still have a chat to my friends. Would go again and visit with my hubby and friends next time.
